Plamen Yotov joined Kambourov & Partners in 2009. He is the head of the firm's EU & Competition department. He specialises in unfair competition and antitrust regulation (domestic and EU), abuse of dominant position, cartels, dawn raids. He has solid experience in a variety of industries including retail, energy, consumer products, TMT, financial services and healthcare.
Plamen has participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition as team member (2011-2012), team advisor (2012-2013) and coach (2015-2017) of the team of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski;
He has also acted as arbitrator at the Willem C. Vis Moot (2015-present) and Memorial Judge at the FDI Moot /international investment arbitration/ (2014-present). He is part of the winning team of the Central and Eastern European Moot Court Competition (CEEMC) in EU Law (2013), organized by the University of Cambridge under the auspices of the Court of Justice of the European Union. Plamen Yotov is the winner of the National Student Writing Contest of the Commission on Protection of Competition (2011).
