Well aware of the impact that competition rules have on all sectors of the economy, we consider both sets of unfair competition regulation (domestic and EU) when shaping complex advice on dominance, cartels, dawn raids, pricing, refusal to supply, etc.
Our experience in cross-border M&As and foreign investments has significantly contributed to the development of a competition expertise in a multitude of industry sectors, including energy, agriculture, food and beverage, technology, financial services and healthcare. The team provides compliance support and merger control advice on domestic and trans-border mergers and acquisitions and other manifold transactions.
Just as well, the department covers the interpretation and application of international private law in contentious trans-border issues.
Clients are represented in competition-related litigation before national courts and the Bulgarian Commission for Protection of Competition.
