Purposes of data
processing
Your personal data will be
processed for the purposes of your participation in the event “What’s in my
Legal Toolbox?” (“Event”), namely for your registration and granting you online
access to the Event itself (e.g. log in credentials, join-in hyperlinks,
etc.).
Your personal data may be used
for sending out our newsletter and other marketing materials in case you have
given your prior consent for such processing.

Legal grounds
for data processing
Your personal data for the
purposes of your participation in the Event shall be processed on the grounds
of art. 6, paragraph 1, „b”
of the GDPR – for the purposes of entering into an agreement for organizing
and participation in the Event and fulfilling this agreement.
Your personal data for the
purposes of receipt of our newsletter shall be processed on the grounds of
art. 6, paragraph 1, “a” of the GDPR – based on your explicit consent.

Recipients of
your data
Please note that public bodies
are entitled to request and receive information, which may include your
personal data (e.g. invoices in case of a tax audit). In this case we may
disclose such information only after we ensure that the respective public
body has observed the applicable procedures and has issued a lawful request.
Your data may be disclosed to
our data processors only after sufficient safeguards have been implemented
(including agreements).

Retention period
Your personal data, processed
for the purposes of the Event shall be stored by us for a period of 1 yearafter the Event.
In case your personal data has
been included in the invoice for participation in the Event, this data (along
with the respective accountancy document) shall be stored for 10 years,
considered as of 01 January 2021 in accordance with art. 12 of the Bulgarian Accountancy Act.
Your personal data regarding
receipt of our newsletter shall be stored until withdrawal of your consent
and/or until you unsubscribe from the newsletter list.

Subject’s rights
You have the right
to request access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or
restriction of processing concerning you or to object to processing as well
as the right to data portability

Consent
withdrawal
If we have collected
and processed your Personal Information with your consent, then you can
withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect
the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor
will it affect the processing of your Personal Information conducted in
reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Exercising
your rights
You may exercise
your rights via electronic communication – by sending us an email, or in
person at our office.

Right
to lodge a complaint
You are entitled to
lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority for
lawful personal data processing in Republic of Bulgaria is the Bulgarian
Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg)

Provision
of your data is Condition Precedent
If you do not
provide us your data, we shall not be in a position to process your
registration and grant you access to the Event.
Please note that provision of your consent for the newsletter is not
mandatory and you may complete your registration without having to agree
on this.

Data
transfer
In case some of your
data is transferred to a country outside the European Union or the European
Economic Area, we shall ensure that such transfer is based on standard
contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other legal
grounds.

Automated
Decision-Making
You shall not be
subject to any automated decision-making whatsoever.
