Stefan Tzakov and Irena Petkova at the BBSPA Regulatory and Legal Seminar

Partner Stefan Tzakov and senior associate Irena Petkova attended the second edition of the Regulatory and Legal Seminar organized by the Balkan and Black Sea Petroleum Association. The event took place on 6 November 2013 at Grand Hotel, Sofia, Bulgaria. Among the main topics were issues on gas transportation capacities, gas target model, international legal framework on gas transit and investments and competition law. The workshop provided a venue for presentations from gas TSOs and supply companies, national regulatory authorities, in-house and private practice lawyers and consulting companies. The event also reviewed capacity allocation mechanisms, progress on market integration, prospects of PRISMA capacity platform, projects of common interest - new regulation and impact for future infrastructure projects in the region.
BBSPA is an organization that brings together major oil, gas and energy companies in the Balkan region, together with major multinational firms, interested in the region. The association provides a forum for formal and informal exchange of information and views and facilitates discussion and debate on the issues of the energy sector in the region through its annual conferences and meetings.
